Pro Bowl voters like Bulluck

Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck got Texans quarterback David Carr's attention by sacking him twice in Sunday's 13-10 win.

In the past week or so he apparently got the attention of Pro Bowl voters as well. With just three days left in the fan voting for the Pro Bowl, Bulluck is now the AFC's leading vote-getter at outside linebacker.

Kyle Vanden Bosch remains second in the AFC among defensive ends, trailing only Indianapolis defensive end Dwight Freeney. No other Titan is in the top five at any position.

The top three defensive ends and outside linebackers from each conference make it to the Pro Bowl, but fan voting is only part of the process. Coaches and players also vote, with each group's vote counting one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters that represent the AFC and NFC in the Pro Bowl. The all-star game is scheduled for Feb. 12 in Hawaii.

NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Dec. 19-20. The teams will be announced on Wednesday, Dec. 21. The fan-voting portion was initially scheduled to end yesterday, but the league extended it to Friday. Fans can vote for players on nfl.com.

A year ago, Bulluck finished No.1 in the fan voting at outside linebacker, but was snubbed by players and coaches. Bulluck was named to the Pro Bowl in 2003. Vanden Bosch, meanwhile, has never been to the Pro Bowl.

Bulluck, who leads the Titans in tackles with 120 and also has four sacks and two interceptions, has received 203,992 total votes so far, which has him just ahead of Indianapolis linebacker Cato June (203,503) and Steelers linebacker Joey Porter (130,352). Just over a week ago, Bulluck trailed June by more than 7,000 votes.

Vanden Bosch, second in the AFC with 12.5 sacks, has received 265,519 votes, which has him behind Freeney (342,996) but well ahead of Oakland's Derrick Burgess (181,281), who leads the NFL in sacks with 13.

Pacman Jones is 7th in the AFC in kick returns, Erron Kinney is 7th among AFC tight ends and Steve McNair is 10th among AFC quarterbacks.
